When I hike I usually hunt for birds, butterflies, and flowers. And I carry identification books for them, too. A walking library. It's amusing to me how meaningful it is that I can make an identification from the text.
I always think of the parable of the Lilies in the New Testament - the Heavenly Father feeds them, but I receive the gift of their presence in my sight.
